The disposal of livestock carcasses is the responsibility of individual owners. If you are concerned that a dead carcass is causing a health risk please contact us using the numbers above.
Livestock Carcasses in waterways are the responsibility of the regional councils (either Auckland Regional Council or Waikato Regional Council). For more information on the regional councils visit their websites:
