As part of its campaign towards a cleaner Franklin, Council  provided 14 of Franklin’s townships with ‘Community Paint Out Kits’.

While there are some rules for their use, they are in place to encourage residents to be proactive with removal of graffiti from their own property.

Unfortunately Council doesn’t have the resources to accommodate a kit for every township but we have tried to ensure that the townships chosen are central to surrounding areas that may also want to use them.

A cleaner Franklin is all about people working together within our communities to address (among other things) the graffiti problem. Unfortunately the funding for graffiti removal does fall back on the ratepayer so if members of the community are willing to do their bit towards painting out graffiti it stands to save everyone money in the long run.
