Rubbish Collections Print

There are weekly refuse collections in all parts of the district north of the Waikato River and at Port Waikato and Onewhero. This is a stickered bag collection in all areas other than Tuakau.

Each rubbish bag must have an official FDC green and white sticker attached; these are available for $2.00 each at Council offices in Pukekohe, Tuakau and Waiuku, and at local retail outlets (Tuakau does not use the stickered bag collection).

If public holidays interrupt the normal collection times, collections are usually one day later eg. if your normal collection day is Monday, it will be Tuesday etc.

Collection days for main areas:

Weekly household refuse collections are as follows:

Urban
Pukekohe Township: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
Waiuku Township: Monday
Tuakau Township: Tuesday (wheelie bins)
Clarks Beach: Tuesday
