This scheme is a partnership between the Franklin District Council and local cultural, social and recreational organisations.
The purpose of the scheme is to assist community organisations in the form of an INTEREST FREE LOAN to provide and develop cultural, social and recreational facilities on gazetted Council reserve land, Crown land vested in Council or land owned by a community organisation within the Franklin District.
Applications are invited from interested groups and organisations that have capital projects for new or existing community facilities valued at $10,000 or more, for funding up to a maximum of 66% of the project cost.
Application forms are available from the Franklin District Council office, and the Waiuku Service Centre or below.
