Franklin District Council wants to promote and establish waste management systems that are sustainable and operate in an efficient manner. We have a special role to play in assisting our residents and ratepayers to take responsibility for their waste management and the Waste Management Plan outlines Council's commitments and vision for waste management in the Franklin District for the next six years.
This plan is to be reviewed every six years.
