Franklin: The Centre is a new civic area for Franklin. It offers a library, art gallery and art shop, specialist art workspaces, community rooms, a cafe and sheltered outdoor function space. It is a multi-purpose venue capable of catering for anything to do with learning, growing, developing and succeeding.

Franklin: The Centre Opening

Franklin District Council has released some of the details for the official opening of Franklin: The Centre. The Council has confirmed that the Governor-General of New Zealand, the Honourable Anand Satyanand, PCNZM, will attend to formally open the centre.
