Franklin District Council is responsible for providing the land and facilities for public swimming pools. Council is also responsible for the management of the facilities. In order to do this the day-to-day management is contracted out to Community Leisure Management New Zealand (CLM).

Public Swimming Pool Facilities in Pukekohe:
Franklin Swim, Sport and Fitness, Franklin Road, Pukekohe
A 25 metre, indoor, heated pool and multi purpose sports stadium is great for family fun and fitness. There is a special kids pool for the younger children. CLM manage this facility and organize programmes and events, such as:
Sunday Funday: Family Fun from 1-3.00pm every Sunday, normal entry includes fun games & activities, spot prizes & give aways. Plus $1 for unlimited goes on the Aqua run inflatable;

An outdoor swimming facility that has a 50 metre Olympic sized main pool, a toddler’s pool and picnic facilities.
Public Swimming Pool Facilities in Tuakau and Waiuku:
Centennial Pool, Dr John Lightbody Reserve, Escotts Road, Tuakau
Whiteside Pool, Centennial Park Reserve, Kitchener Road, Waiuku
These outdoor pool complexes both have a 33.3m main pool, a learner’s pool and a toddler’s pool.
