Tuakau resident Stuart Graham was awarded with a special accolade today.
Mayor Mark Ball presented Mr Graham with a Keep Franklin Beautiful award for his outstanding contribution as a volunteer in Tuakau.
He says, “This certificate is in recognition of the huge amount of work Stuart has done over many years in Tuakau. He has worked tirelessly in areas such as Centennial Park, where he has planted trees, created gardens and a footpath and kept things tidy. He also works in other areas of Tuakau as needed, and tirelessly cleans up graffiti throughout the town. The community is indebted to Stuart for his unwavering community spirit and work ethic.”
Chairperson of Keep Franklin Beautiful Jim Watt says, “Stuart has done a tremendous amount of work in the community and organises other volunteers. He is an inspiration to us all. Keep Franklin Beautiful is proud to recognise Stuart in such a way.”
