Royal Commission on Auckland Governance

The Royal Commission on Auckland Governance has been established by the Government to investigate, and make recommendations on, local and regional government arrangements for the Auckland region in the future.  Submissions have been called for and will be heard within Franklin on Wednesday 7 May and Friday 9 May in the Pukekohe War Memorial Town Hall Concert Chamber, Massey Avenue, Pukekohe.

    The hearings are scheduled to run from 9.30am to 4.30 pm, with adjournments for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

    Any person or group who made a submission, and indicated they wished to be heard, will be personally advised of the hearings and their allocated time by the Royal Commission. All other residents are welcome to attend although they will not be able to speak to the Commissioners.
