Every three years Council releases a Long Term Council Community Plan that sets the direction for the District for the following 10 years. Our current long term plan is the Franklin District Council Community Plan 2009 - 2019: Working together for our Future.

This Community Plan covers the years 2009/10 - 20011/12 in detail and  up to 2019/2020 in outline.
