Franklin District Council has made a resource consent application to the Auckland Regional Council to authorise the emergency discharge of wastewater to land and water from the Pukekohe Wastewater Network servicing the Pukekohe catchment area.

The resource consent (application No: 37083 File No: 21404) applies for a wastewater network discharge consent to authorise the following discharges from the Pukekohe wastewater network: 1) network overflows during the periods of wet weather, 2) network overflows resulting solely from network failure, and 3) network exfiltration.

Any person may make a written submission on the application to the Auckland Regional Council (ARC) no later than 4.30pm on Tuesday 15 December.
