Councillor Lynch has lived in Waiuku since 1968. He was a Councillor for the old Waiuku Borough Council from 1980 - 1989, and then served on the Waiuku-Awhitu Community Board from 1989 -1998. He also represented the Waiuku-Awhitu Ward in Council for the last three year term. Over these years he has served the community with energy, enthusiasm and commitment.
