Meetings and minutes Print

An important role of Council is to meet and make decisions to guide the Districts' growth and development. This is done through Council committees. All Council committees are guided by Council’s Vision, Mission Statement and Guiding Principals.

The decisions of Council’s Activity and Monitoring, Regulatory and Strategy and Policy Committees are reported to and received by Council. Any resolutions of these committees that are outside their delegations are formally reported to Council for adoption.

Forum resolutions are formally reported, together with any necessary further research, to the appropriate Committee of Council for a decision under delegated authority, or to Council for adoption.

You can learn more about the committees by visiting the "Council Committees" page of this section. In this section you can also find out about upcoming meetings and read meeting minutes and agendas.
