Our Mayor and Councillors are your elected representatives and they govern the affairs of the District on behalf of the community.

The Mayor and Councillors govern in a very public manner and you are welcome to attend Council, Committee and Community Board meetings.

Community Plans and Annual Plans

Every three years Council goes through a major planning process with a 10-year forecast. This cumulates in the adoption of the Community Plan. For the years between Community Plan's, Council produces an Annual Plan. You can learn more about the Community Plan and Annual Plan process, and download our Council Community Plan by visiting the "Community Plans" section of this website.
